Summer time fun

Today my mom and I went for high tea at a really fun place. We had little sandwiches, tea and scones!!!!!! Lots of fun. It was actually a date to go out for my moms B-day in October, but I got a call from the school nurse and my oldest boy collided with another student. The nurse said he had a gash above his head. Of course, I had known something was wrong when she called it a gash instead of a cut. Well, my mom spent her Birthday in the ER , needless to say it has been a long time to make this appointment.
Also I have AWESOME NEWS!!!!!! My son was diagnosed with a hearing loss at his newborn hearing exam in the hospital. He had hearing aids and had a speech therapist coming every week. Anyway he was at the doctor the other day and he has been totally healed. He can hear perfectly.---Thank you Jesus for his healing power!!!!!!!!

Well, she was one on Wednesday. Her party is today. Princess is all I have to say we are having a castle cake--once I figure out how to post pics I will show you. It is not done yet I still need to frost it. I will write more about the little one and our adventures to get pics of all four kids taken at a professional photographer..

It has been 2 months since I have blogged!! Where did the time go. Well in May my little and only sis got married and moved to NY. My little girl will be 1 yr in 10 days. My oldest is done with school. I am just trying to survive motherhood at this point.
Well, that is all gotta go and will write more later.

Girls Weekend Getaway

I was so excited to get away with my daughter(9 mo old) my sis and mom. We went to a women's retreat. We had awesome speakers and God showed me so much in 3 days I am not sure where to begin.
Getting there was another story-- I was so rushed to get things together I found the toilet paper roll holder in my purse -- I think that was the most unusual thing I have had in my purse.
Getting back on track--There was something that really got to me--that sometimes in order to love we have to experience the hurt first. Instead of judging people--women in particular--we need to see them through the eyes of love and realize we don't always know the struggles people are going through that may cause them to be the way they are we just need to love them.
Our pastor spoke to us about how love covers a multitude of sins. Well, there is much more I took with me but that really stuck out to me this weekend. It was great to be with my sis who is getting married in May. She is moving far away and It will be hard but I know she will be where God wants her.

Easter Joy

Yes, It 's Easter time remembering Jesus dying for us. Giving himself for us. How marvleous!!
As I get ready to have my First Easter with a little girl in our house I am more excited then a kid in a candy shop!!!!!!!! Realizing the dress I bought her is too small --what a bummer. This week we will be shopping for Easter stuff for the kids.
Of course my second eldest boy decided to take daddy's razor to his head-- of course right in the middle. We are going to try to figure out how to fix it without having to buzz his head.. Well, speaking of my precious little girl --I must go-- the dog food was calling her she is 9 mo old and it is so much fun to play in --so before it is all gone I better go.

The Nights are back again:
Yes, I have to say that I am not looking forward to the next 3 weeks. Yep, my husband is again starting the night shift at work. Nothing is more fun than keep 3 kiddos( since the 4Th one is in Kindergarten) quiet during the day while daddy sleeps --well hopefully--away the day.
I don't even bother with the dogs--if they bark oh well.
My kindergartner came home from school the other day ;and informed me that he is a BIG NY Giants fan and need to find a jersey like his friend.

MY LIFE --Today

Well, I know I keep talking to my kiddos about keeping things picked up and putting things away. My 4 yr old was playing downstairs the other day. I told him it was time for lunch and he answers --but mom I am really busy organizing our toys. Needless to say I probably will be watching more of the cleaning shows on TV then I can get him to organize my house.
Life with 4 kids, 2 dogs is exciting . I feel like my life is going in many different directions. I know God has something awesome in store for us, but we need to just wait on Him.

Well, It's my first blog so here it goes. We had some people over to watch the game. We had lots of fun. With 4 kids and my friend with 3 it was fun times. Nothing like sliding down stairs onto a pile of couch cushions for fun.
